We feel a small token of appreciation, for the time and effort that goes into planning a shower, is appropriate. Tradition in Ashley’s family is for the aunts on one side of the family to host the bridal shower for the soon to be married couple. Ashley followed the theme of the shower favors, which were mini bottles of olive oil, and put together a gift basket with a variety of olive oils complimented by a jar of pesto, Tuscan seasoning and a candle, perfect to burn in the kitchen while cooking a delicious meal.
Remember, you do not have to spend a fortune and at the end of the day, it’s your decision whether to provide a gift. If you prefer, you could take them out for coffee, a drink or meal separately to spend extra time after the shower is over.
