We’re Ashley Morgan and Shannon Elizabeth.
Our friends call us the “hostess with the mostest!” They know we don’t skip a beat when hosting a party or dinner. Both of us grew up dreaming of our perfect wedding day, and while we each experienced our own wedding planning differently, we decided we wanted to help take away the stress, bring happiness, and give other brides wedding bliss on their special day! We started our blog as an outlet to help brides through their own planning process, and figured why not share the knowledge and research we spent hours working on with them. The wedding planning process is a rollercoaster of emotions, and we’ve been through it all too… we’re talking the good, bad, ugly tears, laughs, and most importantly, lots of love!

Hi y’all! I’m Ashley, a born and raised Michigander with a passion for bringing joy to others. I went to Oakland University for my bachelor’s in finance and marketing, and completed my MBA at Walsh College. It’s safe to say I like business! I have over seven years of experience in Sales and Finance in the automotive industry and have learned the in’s and out’s of top quality customer service and negotiations. You can classify me as a Pinterest addict, wedding dreamer, an organization queen, wine enthusiast and love being creative. I met my husband, Stephen, on a blind date (yep, those still happen these days!) in 2017, had our dream wedding in October of 2021, and are expecting our first child later this year. When I’m not working, you can catch me planning my next travel adventure, being active with my dog, Dex, kayaking with Stephen, or sipping on a glass of chardonnay when I’m not pregnant!

Hey there! My name is Shannon. I love a good charcuterie board and will never turn down a glass of wine. I’m an vehicle & technology planner by day and party planner by night. There is no greater joy to me than having my house filled with people enjoying themselves. If I’m not wedding planning, you can find me exploring with my amazing husband and bernedoodle, Mindy! After planning three completely different versions of our wedding, we FINALLY got married in Las Vegas in November, 2020. Damn you, Covid! You’d think this would make me want to stay away from weddings all together… but it’s done the opposite! All the planning has led me to further my love for organizing and wanting to share that love with others by bringing their wedding dreams to life.
