Morgan Elizabeth Weddings Weddings are all about the details. Bridal party gifts were one of our favorite things to plan for our weddings! We love to see the smile on our friends faces when they open any gift, let alone one from us on our special day! What we kept in mind when planning our gifts was the possibility to use them after our wedding. We wanted to make sure that our bridesmaids would be able to use what we gave them beyond our wedding day. Whether this be for traveling, something to wear on our wedding day and to future weddings, or to sleep in in the future.
Our first gift suggestion is giving your bridal party robes, pajamas, or any getting ready outfit. You can give it to your bridal party before your wedding, or the morning of. This makes for very cute matching photos when you are all getting ready for the wedding.
Another great gift to give to your bridal party is personalized make up/beach/travel bags. This is a great one that your bridesmaids can use many times after your wedding. We recommend if you do personalize these bags, personalize them with your bridesmaids’ names or something specific and not anything that has your wedding or date on them. That will allow the bags to be used for many different events and purposes not tied to your wedding. Also, consider refraining from using their last name in the event they get married in the future, this way if their initials change, they will still be able to use it. If you would like to your bridesmaids to wear specific jewelry or something that matches your jewelry, then giving them earrings or bracelets as your gift is a great way to ensure they match and are wearing the correct color and style jewelry you want in your pictures.
You can also make your bridal party gift focused on where your wedding is. This allows you to add a special touch to your gift and location. If you have a destination wedding at a winery or at a brewery, you could do a fun gift based around that! You could give your bridal party personalized wine glasses or travel tumblers. Same goes for something at the beach or tropical location, this would be a great opportunity to have beach bags or towels made!
